Tip 17 - A Magnetically Attractive Business
It’s time to start thinking
creatively! There are many ways to perk up your business; all
you need to do is look past the way you’ve been doing things,
and find new ways to advertise and expand your business.
The word ‘advertising’
scares some folks, and it doesn’t have to! A business card
is a form of advertising, for example, and there are ways to go
beyond the simple business card. Many distributors have placed
their business cards on magnetic strips, and put them on their
Refreshment Centers. You can also use magnets to attach ‘Sale
On This Item’ or ‘New Product’ announcements
over individual Refreshment Center columns. In fact, if you have
a computer and printer, you can print anything and you’ll
probably find a magnet to match!
Speaking of magnets, you can always
use magnetic signs on your vehicle’s doors to advertise
your business when you’re working; peel them off when you’re
done if you wish!
You can order Post-Its with your
company name, logo, or slogan. Use them on all your correspondence
for a more personal approach; even handwriting “Thought
you’d like to see this!” on your brochures makes for
a friendlier approach.
Use clear plastic literature boxes
(sometimes called ‘Take Me!’ boxes) and attach them
to your Refreshment Centers. It’s a great way to get your
flyers noticed! There are specialty paper kits, in a wide variety
of designs, that allow you to print your own brochures, business
cards, and letterheads on your computer and printer, with professional
results. If you custom print anything, deliver your customized
information or logo to the print shops through email or on a floppy,
and save the camera setup charges!
These are just a few inexpensive
ways to advertise your business with every public contact. Be
proud of your business!
